Welcome to our September ezine!Welcome to our September ezine!

Looking for some last minute academic practice before you head back to university? Well there are lots of online resources you might want to check out. Whether you want to brush up on your maths or get some extra help with your English, there’s plenty to do out there. And some casual learning can be a great way to ease yourself back into academic life.

However what if you’ve been having the opposite problem – working so hard over the summer that you’ve gotten yourself stressed? If this is the case why not get in touch with the relevant staff at your university? They’ll be willing to help, and the sooner you ask the more they can do. Plus, if your lecturers and tutors are aware that you’re having issues with stress in advance, they should be more willing to give you a bit of leeway if it becomes more of a problem.

Up, up and away!Up, up and away!

If you’re heading overseas to study abroad this year there are a few things you should check you’ve done before leaving.

By now, you should have sorted out your accommodation and your visa. It also might be worth looking into making some contacts before you move, and making sure you understand the healthcare system that is in place wherever it is you are heading. And although we do always like to look on the bright side of life - you should also have an emergency plan, just in case something goes wrong while you are abroad.

If you’re heading to Europe for your postgraduate studies you can find tips about specific countries here and learn about student life too.

Bon Voyage!

Wishing you all the best with your studes, the Postgrad team
