2nov19 This is to give a deeper understanding for a graphics-desinger to create the icons. This is *not* intended as text to put on the website itself Mazatrol Editor The computer screen with a pattern that looks like this specific kind of program (see image MazatrolEditor2.png) -- which is kind of blocks of text with distinct table-like columns for a part of the screen followed by some random, then again another block of table-like -- see the screen-capture. CAD/CAM The user selecting geometry to apply to tools to cut it. Solid-Verification Simulate cutting parts (This allows the customer to “try out” the cutting on the computer so they can see if it makes what they intend versus crashing ) See problems on the computer before it goes to the machine for real-world cutting. Key concepts for an icon include seeing the tool motion cutting the part, and checking the result. 3D and MultiAxis Machining Doing machining where the tool is cutting curved surfaces such as curved wing or propeller blade See "Propeller1.png" as one example of many possible ideas. Convert between Controls Move programs from one CNC-machine to another different CNC-machine. Data Management Store & Manage and search for Programs (This allows customer to save programs they’ve made, then organize them and find them) Key concepts for an icon include file organization -- perhaps as simple as a Windows-Explorer showing folder tree structure. In addition, please see the other documents attached to this project.
