We can create a snapshot of all the programs and files on your computer using
our Image Backup technology. We'll give you your backup on an external hard
drive which you can store someplace safe.  If anything happens, just bring in
your computer and your Image Backup and we'll restore your computer back to the
point when the snapshot was taken.

Restoring from an Image Backup is like setting your computer back in time.  To
make sure all your new files are protected, we'll also install Carroll-Net's
Healthy Workstation software to backup your files every night.  These backups
are stored in Carroll-Net's secure datacenter to protect you from even the most
severe data loss scenarios.

The combination of your Image Backup and your nightly backup will ensure you
have complete protection for both your programs and your files. It means

How It Works
************

Our technology is designed to take advantage of the powerful imaging technology
embedded in Microsoft Windows. Deep within the core of the OS is an imaging
engine that can create a point-in-time backup of the Windows Operating System,
device drivers, programs and system state.  The backup can be used later to
recover the system back to this point-in-time.  

Backups created by our Imaging technology can even be used to restore
Windows to dissimilar hardware. This is a quick way to migrate to a new computer
without having to reinstall everything from scratch.

Our technology stores backups as Microsoft "Virtual Hard Disk" (VHD).  These
VHD files can be directly mounted from the Windows Disk Manager.  This is a
great way to browse the contents of your Image Backup and restore individual
files and folders.
